Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) is a standalone utility that performs a detailed scan of your computer system information and devices. Intel SSU produces an output file that you can save, view, and share.

Scan: Performs a detailed scan of your computer system information and devices. Open: Open a previously saved scan file to view in Intel SSU interface. Save: Saves the scan information to a file (.xml format). Submit: Clicking the submit button redirects the user to the Intel Customer Support site. Here you can enter a new service request. You also have the option to attach the saved scan file to the ticket. ?: Clicking the ? opens the Intel SSU About screen. The About screen includes a brief description of the application and a link to the Intel SSU guide and download location. X: Clicking the X closes the Intel SSU application. If you completed a scan, you are asked if you want to save the information to a file before exiting. |
![]() Here are explanations of what you see when you click this information in the screen: Computer: Shows detailed scan information about the computer, including, but not limited to, manufacturer, system model, system type, and processor. Operating System: Shows detailed scan information about the operating system, including, but not limited to, the manufacturer and the operating system version and build. Adapters: Lists all network adapters on your system, including wired and wireless connections. Adapter Name: Clicking a device name displays the detailed scan information. This information includes, but is not limited to, driver version, adapter type, and product type. Settings: Clicking the ( ) next to the Adapter name and then clicking Settings shows persistent settings and configuration information for the adapter. Display: Lists all graphics adapters on your system. Clicking a device name displays the detailed scan information. This information includes, but is not limited to, driver version, video processor, and adapter RAM. Copy Information (Copy/Paste) functionality: You can copy/paste the information (Item/Value) in the view screen to your clipboard, and then paste the information in any supported text file/editor. Use your mouse to select the information you want to copy, then right-click with your mouse and click Copy. |
